Alto Paranaíba, Triângulo Mineiro and Northwest of Minas Gerais
A coffee producer for just over 40 years, the Cerrado Mineiro Region has gained prominence on the national scene both for the high quality of its beans and for the boldness with which it seeks differentiation and alternatives for the activity, always contemplating all producers and communities. The coffees from the Cerrado of Minas Gerais are characterized by being a fine drink, having a strong body and excellent aroma and sweetness. They are produced at altitudes between 800m and 1,300m. The local climate is extremely conducive to the cultivation of high quality natural coffees, as it has well-defined seasons: hot and rainy summers followed by dry and cold winters. The flowering is concentrated, the maturation is uniform and is accompanied by a lot of light, helping to fix the aroma and sweetness. This region involves 55 municipalities located between Alto Paranaíba,
Most cultivated coffee varieties: Mundo Novo and Catuaí.
